Wood-plastic composite (WPC) is wood fibre bound in polymer and extruded into boards through a shaped die. Jarvalo boards are made in their finished colour, so there is no staining, oiling or painting to do.

Classic boards are solid-colour composite, finished sanded, brushed or deep 3D-embossed, in 11 colours. Capped boards are co-extruded: a polymer shell over a composite core, in brushed, wood-grain, hand-scraped or linen textures and 8 colours. On Capped Solid Decking (XK-DK-CE-SOL) the cap is 1 mm thick on the walking face and wraps the edges.

Hollow and round-core boards weigh less per metre, so they are easier to carry and handle. Solid boards are heavier and have no open chambers at the cut ends. Every product page lists the weight per metre, and we can share the manufacturer's test data on request.

Our standard length is 2.9 m, which packs neatly into pallets, cartons or woven bags. Other lengths can be made to order.

Screens and cameras shift colour, and natural batch variation is normal with composite. Always check a physical sample, and order each elevation from one batch.

No. Fix 40 × 30 composite battens (XK-JO) to the wall first, at around 400 mm centres. They leave a ventilated gap behind the boards. Follow local building rules.

Cladding takes one stainless clip (XK-WC) per board at every batten. For decking, allow about 21 hidden clips per m², 21 screws per m² and 9 hammer-in fixings per m² for masonry bases.

Our plastic hidden clips (XK-PC) set a 6 mm gap; the stainless clips (XK-MC) set a tighter 4 mm gap. Always leave an end gap too, as composite moves with temperature.

Yes. Most profiles work both ways. Horizontal boards need vertical battens and vice versa. Every board end must land on a batten.

Yes. Each product page lists how many 2.9 m boards fit in a 20 ft or 40 ft container on pallets, in cartons or in woven bags.

Warm soapy water and a soft brush once or twice a year. Rinse well. Avoid close-range pressure washing, solvents and wire brushes.
